Thanks to everyone who has signed up to the easyfundraising.org.uk they’ve just sent us a cheque for £24.

If you shop online for Christmas please register with their website and search ‘Yorda Adventures’ under the ‘find a cause’ tab then any shopping you make online a donation will come to us! It’s totally free to you we get a percentage of every amount you spend online. Register today and give us money for free!!!!!

October 2011 Half Term dates

We are now taking bookings for the October half term:

Age Group: 5-11 years

Monday 24th October, Tuesday 25th October& Thursday 27th October

Age Group: 12-19 yearsMonday 24th October, Wednesday 26th October& Friday 28th October

Times: All playscheme days run from 10.00am—4.00pm

Cost: Donation of anything between £1-15If you require extra childcare between 8.30am-10.00am and 4.00pm-6.00pm this will cost an additional £10 per hour

Where: Southwood District Scout Hut, Elm Close, off Southwood Drive, Tolworth, KT5 9NA

Minibus: Limited service between 9.45-10.30am and 3.45-4.30pm to families living in KT1-KT10.

If possible please drop off and collect your children

Human Fruit Machine!

Thanks to everyone who came down to support us on Saturday at the Surbiton Festival.

The Human fruit machine was a big success! We raised £250.00 from this and our facepainting.

Many Thanks to Charlotte, Rosie, Alison, Alex and Eleanor for dressing up, randomly picking fruit and helping to make the whole day a great event!

These sessions are for families with children who have physical disabilities.
Bring the whole family down for a play in the luxuriously warm Dysart pool.
9.30am – 11.30am @ Dysart School, Ewell Rd, Surbiton
(Last entry to pool 10.45am)

Yorda Adventures staff will be on hand to assist with the use of changing beds and hoists
but parent/carers must be willing to swim with their children.
We regret we will not be able to admit children without an accompanying adult.
Families only please; sorry, no family support workers.
For your comfort we are limiting numbers, so do let us know if you would like to come.

Adventure Holiday Booking

We are running another Adventure Holiday 8th to 9th October 2011.

Ages: 8yrs to 19yrs

Cost: a donation of what you can afford between £1 – £60

Meet at: Southwood scout hut on 8th at 10am. Meet back there 4-5pm on 9th for collection.

New Lottery system – If you did not get on last one there is more chance of getting on this one!

Adventure Holiday Success!

We’ve just finished a brilliant week supporting 15 young people away on overnight short breaks. A big thank you to all our staff for such continued hard work and enthusiasm throughout the whole holiday making it a wonderful experience for the young people who came to stay.

Monthly Draw

We are setting up a monthly draw for all our supporters to get a chance to win a cash prize every month!

How it works:
You give us £5 every month and sign up to a number.
We put £1 of that £5 into a monthly draw.
If your number comes out the draw you win the pot!
The rest of the £4 goes towards our projects working with children with severe learning disabilities

Monthly draw date will be;
25th of each month starting the 25th September 2011

How do you join?
Email me on Laura@yordaadventures.co.uk and I’ll get back in touch for you to choose your number

How do you pay?
Send us a cheque for £5 per month or £60 for the year
or
Set up a standing order for £5 per month
or
Pay us electronically by BAC’s marking your payment as ‘ monthly draw’ sort 20-39-07 acc 40481297

We need the payment by the 20th of each month so your number can be included in the draw on the 25th
